”When we talk about personalization as hoteliers, we spend a lot of time thinking about the guest journey and what happens from the moment people are thinking about traveling, booking, their pre-stay activities, the arrival, what happens on the property and when they leave. And the challenge today is that some parts of that journey have been optimized and some of them still maintain a lot of friction. So there is a challenge there. The bar has been set with very good personalization at some touch points in that journey and others have not kept up.
